Review: 27 Dresses

‘Love is patient, love is kind, love means slowly losing your mind’

This film is unoriginal Rom-Com at it’s worst. The entire film is a mediocrely-acted cliché… You have the girl secretly in love with the guy she can’t have, you have the unexpected love interest who does something wrong and then redeems himself, and you have uninteresting relationships, 0 surprises, and very few genuine laughs. James Marsden is the only actor in this who really brings something to the table for me as he has a level of charisma to his character, but this isn’t enough to salvage Fletcher’s extremely forgettable Rom-Com. I would not recommend this film (although admittedly I am not their demographic, and I’m sure this film does appeal to some people).
